Inspired by the idea of rare, unforgettable experiences — like a “blue moon” — the name and visual identity were designed to evoke a sense of wonder, elegance, and discovery, from sunrise adventures to moonlit moments. I also provided art direction for the ship’s launch video, with a particular focus on shaping the camera paths that guide the viewer through Luna’s standout features. Every movement was carefully considered to build anticipation, highlight key design moments, and deliver a sense of flow and immersion. This collector’s edition features 120 stunning photographs, minimal text and seven of Oppenheim Architecture’s projects, ranging in scale and location from homes in the Bahamas and Aspen to a resort in the Jordanian desert. The projects are categorized by each site’s predominant natural element: dune, desert, stream, river, sea, canyon, and peninsula. The images, like the architecture, focus on and celebrate the natural world, illustrating Oppenheim’s design philosophy that “form follows feeling.” The design of this book maximizes the viewer’s engagement with the sites highlighted. Eterno, meaning “eternal” in Spanish is a nod to the Italian phrase “A tavola non si invecchia” translating as “At the table, one does not&nbsp;grow old.” The name means that with good company and good food, time ceases to exist. We attempted to capture that feeling through the logomark, an iconic Möbius strip, interchangeable with the “o” in “eterno”. The villain’s lair, as popularized in many of our favorite movies, is much more than where the megalomaniac goes to get some rest. Instead, the homes of the villains are places where evil is plotted and where, often, the hero is tested and must prove him/herself.
